Tizona and Huawei Cloud Partner to Drive Retail Digital Innovation at the Huawei Cloud & Tizona Retail Summit 2024


On October 16th, the NOVOTEL Madrid Center was the stage for the Huawei Cloud & Tizona Retail Summit 2024, an event organized by Tizona in collaboration with Huawei Cloud. This summit focused on exploring the latest technological solutions designed to transform the retail sector, bringing together prominent experts and showcasing key innovations for retail digitalization.


The event kicked off with a warm welcome that highlighted the strong partnership between the two companies, committed to providing advanced tools to drive digital transformation in retail. Gao Feng, Vice President of Huawei Cloud Europe, opened the event with a speech reaffirming Huawei’s commitment to developing cloud solutions that propel the evolution of the retail sector.

César Tello, CEO of Adigital, was the next to speak, analyzing how digitalization is revolutionizing retail in Spain and emphasizing the importance of adopting new technologies to ensure competitiveness and sustainable growth in an increasingly dynamic environment.



Throughout the event, various innovative solutions were presented. Francisco Almeida, Partner Solutions Architect at Huawei Cloud, introduced the latest cloud technologies specifically designed to optimize retail operations. These solutions enable retailers to improve operational efficiency and customer experience through Huawei Cloud’s infrastructure.




Tizona focused its presentation on two of its most prominent solutions: autonomous vending systems, presented by Javier Roig, and SoftPOS technology. The AI-powered vending system includes age verification and automated management, offering a smooth shopping experience in unattended environments. The SoftPOS technology turns any mobile device into a payment terminal, providing retailers with a flexible and cost-effective solution for managing secure, contactless payments.

Additionally, Fernanda Cruz presented an advanced video surveillance solution designed to enhance security in retail stores, highlighting the importance of technology in protecting assets and ensuring customer safety.

The event concluded with presentations by David Casanovas and Cristian de Murcia from Grupo Moure, who showcased the Cloudpick solution, a tool designed to optimize the management of unmanned stores, offering an innovative and efficient model for retail operations.
